Description of the facility

Camping Continental overlooks the beach of Marina di Castagneto, a beach that has been awarded several times the Blue Flag for the purity of the waters. The facility is inside the secular maritime pine forest that characterises this territory and is located just a few steps away from the sparkling centre of Marina di Castagneto, with clubs, restaurants, outdoor cafes and discos. From the 2012 season Camping Continental offers the possibility to stay in comfortable CARAVANS, a solution that allows a holiday in contact with nature but with the comfort of a mobile home. There are 20 of them and they are scattered throughout the 12 hectares of pinewood of the campsite. The beds are four and in the external covered veranda there is a fully equipped kitchenette, table and chairs. The caravans are not equipped with toilets but there are seven comfortable common blocks equipped with: hot and cold showers, washing machines, wash houses, washbasins and toilets for disabled people. The shaded PITCHES can accommodate campers, tents and caravans. The private beach degrades slowly toward the crystal clear water and is therefore perfect for children and their safety. The bathing establishment rents beach umbrellas, sunbeds, canoes and pedal boats. Here you can have fun playing beach volleyball and participating in the activities organized by the animation staff. The campsite has slipways where you can leave the small boats. Within the complex there is a shopping centre which has a bar, newsstand, minimarket, bazar and self-service restaurant which also prepares specialties for celiacs.

The Nature & Fitness Campsite Continental has recently renovated its commercial area, which houses the well-stocked supermarket, the bazaar, the restaurant-pizzeria and the scenic bar. An upgrade that further enhances the experience of staying on this campsite immersed in greenery and directly overlooking one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Tuscany. The location is strategic; the charming village of Bolgheri can be reached in 20 minutes by car and is 13 km away, Castagneto Carducci 8 km, the Terme di Venturina 24 km, Baratti and Populonia 30 km, Follonica 40 km. From the campsite, you can also quickly reach the Cavallino Matto amusement park.

Its location directly by the sea, the beach, the dedicated animation program and its excellent restaurant make Camping Continental the preferred destination for families with children who want to spend a holiday full of relaxation and fun in complete safety. The continuously supervised beach also provides an assistance service to bathers, while the animation team organizes, on the campsite and on the beach, games, sports tournaments, mini club, baby dance and everything you need to entertain children to the fullest. The pride of Camping Continental is its restaurant and pizzeria. Recently renovated and featuring bright rooms and a great natural setting, it offers its guests the best recipes of local cuisine, but also salads and cold dishes perfect in summer, menus for children and for those suffering from gluten intolerance are available. The restaurant pizzeria is in fact certified gluten free. Sports lovers will find Camping Continental to be the ideal place to practice sports in close contact with nature. The property offers its guests a shaded Spinning Park with exercise bikes where you can work out while on holiday.
