International Camping

International Camping rises on the Western shore of Lake of Lugano not far from the Swiss border, 700 meters from the centre of Ponte Tresa and 500 meters from Lavena, a gracious tourist town. Open all year round and plunged into the green, it establishes itself as the ideal holiday destination for those loving nature and traditional campsites thanks to its long-gone peacefulness, fresh air, chats with friends and heart-warming landscapes.

The camping is provided with large and shady tent, van and caravan pitches featuring electrical outlets of varying amperage based on your needs. Those who seek the utmost level of comfort will be benefit from bungalows able to host up between 2 and 4 persons outfitted with services such as an equipped kitchenette, sofa bed and bunk bed, fridge and car park.
Restrooms are easily reachable from any part of the camping and are provided with hot water for showers, wash houses and basins. Premises are heated during winter.

Guests will benefit from a restaurant with a beautiful eagle’s eye view.
Services also include a nice children’s playground, a well-stocked supermarket, table tennis and a paid laundry service.
Guests are also made available a beach located opposite the camping particularly suited to children thanks to its shallow sea bed. Here it is also possible to practice fishing and attend kayaking courses.
The camping is well connected by public transports: from Switzerland by a light train connecting Lugano and Ponte Tresa (nearly 10km) and from Italy with daily line buses connecting Ponte Tresa to Varese (nearly 20km) and Ponte Tresa to Luino (Lake Maggiore, nearly 12km).
Dogs are not admitted.
