Relaxation, nature and fun in the heart of Liguria
Camping delle Rose is a lovely family-run campsite located in the Nervia Valley, in the province of Imperia. Surrounded by green pines, mimosa, eucalyptus and chestnut trees, it is just a few minutes from the medieval village of Isolabona, 5 km from the village of Dolceacqua, 12 km from the coast and the sea and 32 km from the cities of Monaco and Montecarlo. The campsite is the ideal destination for those who want to spend a holiday full of relaxation and fun in the company of family, as a couple or with friends.
Camping & Glamping
Spacious shaded pitches for tents, campers and caravans, with 3 amps electric connection, served by recently renovated sanitary facilities with free hot showers, washtubs, washbasins, and a coin-operated washing machine. Glamping enthusiasts can stay in the splendid Safari Tents. These charming, exotic-looking lodgings can host up to 6 people and consist of a four-poster double bed, bunk beds, bathroom with shower, kitchenette with fridge, large furnished terrace and a hammock for two people.
Apartments & Mobile Homes
Those looking for a maximum in comfort can enjoy the comforts of our recently renovated, panoramic and lushly situated masonry apartments. They are composed of a double bedroom, a bedroom with single beds, a living room with satellite TV, a kitchen with a kitchenette, an oven and a fridge, a bathroom with a shower, a garden furnished with a table and chairs and a barbecue. Pets are allowed.

There is a maximum of liberty also available for those who opt for the Mobile Homes, which can host up to a maximum of 6 people. These solutions consist of a double bedroom, a bedroom with single beds, kitchenette with refrigerator, living room, bathroom with shower, and a furnished veranda. Pets are allowed.
Pools, sea and sport
The pools for adults and children, open from May to September, are nestled in the greenery. They are surrounded by a beautiful sun terrace equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas, free of charge. The sea can be reached in just a few minutes by car and the nearest beach is that of Camporosso Mare, which has been awarded the Blue Flag of Europe. The campsite is connected to the village of Isolabona through a nature trail. The surroundings are full of attractions for fans of culture, trekking and mountain biking.
Animation & Dining Options
During high season, there is a discreet but engaging animation service, which offers a packed program for young and old, the mini club, disco, cabaret shows for all, collective sports tournaments, gymnastics and water sports to keep fit. The campsite's pizzeria is very popular, offering delicious pizzas out of the wood-burning oven made from quality products, starting with home-grown olive oil. A take-away service is also available.

    The sea within reach. The area is well connected to the sea and has many seaside resorts. There is a large choice of spacious beaches. The natural outlet of the Val Nervia is the beach of Camporosso Mare, known for its wideness and the fact that it has been assigned the “Blue Flag of Europe” for several years. You can also visit the Oasi del Nervia, a nature reserve protected by the World Wildlife Fund. The coast of Vallecrosia is characterized by numerous wide bays with plenty of space to sit and crystal clear water. Beyond Vallecrosia the beaches of Bordighera begin. This area has also been assigned with the Blue Flag because of the clean water. Who doesn’t mind a walk along the mountainous coast can go to Calandre, the sandy beach near Ventimiglia which is surrounded on all sides by cliffs and mountain walls which gives it a tropical impression. Again, the water is crystal clear making the gently sloping seabed visible at all times. This wide shallow area makes the beach a suitable place for children. Those who want to combine a swim with culture can go to Balzi Rossi. The prehistoric museum is located right on the sea. A few kilometers away lies Menton with its long promenade full of restaurants along the beach. It is a good place, both day and night, whether or not combined with a visit to the old town or the casino. The dog can come to the special dog beach at the mouth of the river Roya in Ventimiglia. Also in Bordighera and Ospedaletti part of the beach is reserved for dogs.

  • Is there a cycle track near the Camping?
    For a leisurely bike ride with the family follow the “Pista Ciclabile” along the old railway line from Ospedaletti to San Lorenzo al Mare. The route runs across a flat area along the coast and is not open for fast traffic. Along the route you can not only rent regular bikes, but also multiple bikes or even roller skates. In Dolceacqua in the Nervia Valley starts a cycle path along the Nervia. There is a cycle path from Camporosso to the coastal road in Camporosso Mare.

    Diving, snorkeling and under water excursions From Imperia diving excursions are organized for divers of different levels. Short excursions or throughout the day excursions with lunch on the boat. PADI courses are also offered. Offshore sailing In a number of places along the coast clubs offer sailing courses for all ages from 8 years and up. There is also the possibility to rent a manned boat for a sailing trip. Fishing In the style of Ernest Hemingway: a full or half day fishing at sea with live bait. For a unique and unforgettable experience. Mountainbike Liguria is a paradise for those who want to go mountain biking. The characteristic mountainous landscape always offers new views of mountains and/or sea. The scents and colors of the landscape make the experience complete. Hiking Experiencing the lush countryside while hiking can be done a lot in this area. Both high in the mountains as in the lower foothills of the Ligurian Alps many hiking trails can be found of varying difficulty. Climbing From easy to difficult, beginners to advanced. Several centers offer classes and flights with qualified instructors. Canyoning and rafting The area is rich of mountain streams where rafting can be practiced like in the Roya Valley. One of the places where canyoning can be done is the Barbara stream in Rochetta Nervina. Whale Watching In the triangle Monaco, Corsica and the Ligurian coast is a protected area for dolphins and whales. There are different species of whales and dolphins to be seen, such as the sperm whale and pilot whale, the striped dolphin and the common dolphin. From Porto Maurizio in Imperia, San Remo and Bordighera boats depart daily to see the whales and dolphins in their natural environment. A tour takes about 5 hours.

    An ideal solution for a comfortable holiday: the convenience of a home with the “Great Outdoors “ feeling of a campsite. Spacious and comfortable, equipped with a double bedroom, and a bedroom with two single beds, living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a toilet. The sitting area can be rebuilt into a double bed. On the large veranda are tables and chairs to eat and stay outside.

    The mobile homes are fully furnished, bed linen is included, the guest have to bring their own towels and tea towels.

    Following the natural environment against the hillside, Camping Delle Rose offers various types of pitches for tents, caravans and campers. In the shade of mimosa, eucalyptus, chestnut and pine trees, overlooking the mountains and the phenomenal Monte Torragio. Some camper pitches are paved. All pitches have electricity. Warm water in the showers and washing up facilities are free. Guests can use a freezer drawer for cooling elements and there are washing machines provided.

  • How can I get to the village?
    Camping Delle Rose is connected to the medieval village of Isolabona through a walkway \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Cupeira\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". The historic path leads over the mountain to the castle ruins of Isolabona. The route has stunning views over the Nervia Valley, passes the remains of the Ligurian peasant lifestyle and the ruins of an old stone oven, where once the characteristic semicircular Ligurian tiles where made. The total walk takes about 45 minutes.
