Elbadoc Camping Village rises in Cavo di Rio Marina, on the north east coast of the Elba Island. Open from Easter to October, it enjoys a highly privileged location being the closest campsite to the mainland. In fact, it takes just 20 minutes by hydrofoil from Piombino to Cavo to reach the port which is only 950 meters away from the campsite. A location that allows you to travel comfortably even on foot and by bike. Elbadoc features a simple and genuine atmosphere and is much appreciated by families with kids who can find a safe environment, sand and pebble beach with shallow waters, a playground and the opportunity to do take part in a range of children’s activities across the surroundings.

Pitches for tents, campers and caravans are available for guests, fitted with an electrical connection up to 3 Ampere and serviced by restrooms with free hot water, showers, toilets, washbasins, sinks for washing dishware and children’s sanitary fittings. New mothers will also find a comfortable toilet with changing table. 2019 news: a brand new laundry area with sinks, washing machines and dryers.

For those who look for the comfort of home, Elbadoc Camping Village offers accommodations in wooden chalets, bungalows and glamping tents that can host from 2 to 6 people. The units are fitted with air conditioning, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchenette, Wi-Fi, veranda with chairs, table and parasol. Baby cots are available on request. 4-legged friends are welcome.

    Cavo's beaches are pebbly and sandy, with a sandy seabed, ideal for children. All the beaches are free with umbrella and deckchair hire, pedalos and canoes at the service of bathers. The nearest beach is San Bennato, consisting of soft sand and a gently sloping seabed. After the pier there is the long Cavo beach made up of pebbles and sand in the last stretch known as \\\\\\\"lo Chalet\\\\\\\". Following the seafront after the last climb, you reach Cala Frugoso, which has a car park for a fee and a kiosk with a panoramic view for a snack with a view of the sea. From here, you reach a real natural jewel, the wonderful Cala delle Alghe.
