Camping Piper

Description of the facility

Camping Piper boasts a highly privileged position looking out over the long sandy beach of Follonica Gulf in the province of Grosseto. The structure has been run with passion and competence by the Pecchia family for over 30 years and offers quality services, shady and outfitted pitches and bungalows furnished with all amenities for a holiday hallmarked by relaxation and fun.

Guests are provided with 180 shady pitches, all equipped with electrical supply, for tents, caravans and camper vans lying next to the main services and the beach. Bungalows can accommodate between 4 and 6 occupants and are equipped with air conditioning, lcd tv, one or two bedrooms, living room with kitchenette, fridge with freezer, bathroom with shower, bed linen, veranda and parking spot.

At Camping Piper getting bored is impossible, apart from a restaurant which proposes typical Tuscan-based specialities and a bar where guests can sample delicious aperitifs at sunset, a professional entertainment staff will gladden your holidays by arranging leisure, sports and recreational activities, evening shows, music, dances and baby dance for children. A soft entertainment that will not fail to win you over for an unforgettable holiday.

Other services include a factory outlet, a medical service open around the clock from 15th to 31th June and the possibility to moor small boats and crafts near the Camping.

The beaches we recommend are two: the free one in front of the camping, sandy with a slightly sloping low seabed well-suited for children and Mamai Beach, reachable by a handy free service and located only 2 km away from the Camping between Marina di Scarlino and Follonica, equipped with beach umbrellas, sunbeds and loungers. This beach is sandy as well and its seabed perfectly fits families with children.
